With a first class reputation, Licensed Trade Auditors specialise in supplying stocktaking services to the licensed trade.
Our fully trained stocktakers provide a highly professional service across the hospitality industry, from pubs and nightclubs to gyms and hotels.
We look upon each of our clients as a special task to help, encourage and advise as to how your bar and kitchen’s performance can improve.
We pride ourselves on providing the best service we possibly can, and unlike many stocktaking companies we won’t just send you back a report – we’ll show you how to understand the figures we produce.
With reduced waste and a leaner, more efficient company – your profits will improve.
We work for many of the finest companies in London and the south of England, as well as providing a nationwide service with our trusted partners.
Our list of satisfied clients has grown to it’s present size not only because of our highly trained stocktakers but also from recommendations from existing customers. We are justifiably proud of this, given that it demonstrates how we can deliver to the highest standards.
These clients have benefited from our stocktaking service, providing them with all the figures they need to keep up to date with exactly what is happening at their premises.
If the best hotels in Brighton and the biggest pub chains in London use our services, it must speak volumes for the quality of service we provide at a very cost-effective price.
We look forward to hearing from you and discussing how we can serve your needs.
Alex, Ed & everyone at Licensed Trade Auditors.
Meet Some Of The Team
Alex started in the hospitality industry working at his local pub in Brighton as well as in the student bar while at Chichester University. After graduating with a music degree, it only seemed natural to start training as a stocktaker!
13 years on he now lives in London and heads up our office in the capital.
In 2019 alongside Ed, Alex took over the running of LTA from his former employer Jon. Together they look forward to expanding the business and being triumphant in being their own bosses!
Alex is a drummer and DJ in his spare time, playing drums for indie band Mt. Wolf.
When he’s not playing music or counting stock, Al can be found doing up his new house in Croydon.
Ed has nearly always worked in hospitality, from being a student working part time in an off license in term time and his local golf and country club during the holidays, where he progressed to bar manager.
After a brief break to work in IT, he moved back to hospitality at The Granville Hotel in Brighton, where he rose to operations manager. Ed was instrumental in helping the owners open their hugely successful new bar and restaurant Smokeys.
After 8 years he decided another change was in order and came to join the team at LTA and now works out of the Brighton office.
In his spare time Ed picks up a book and watches the world go by on Brighton beach, with a beer in hand obviously!
Having learnt the trade off his father David, Jon led the company for 20 years up to 2019, when he passed over the reigns to Alex & Ed. In this time he gained a wealth of experience within the industry and still helps out occasionally with a stocktake now and then.
Jon has recently taken up the other side of the business – heading sales with renowned craft beer brewery Lost+Found.
He loves sport of all types and can be found watching Brighton & Hove Albion or Brighton Rugby Club during the winter months and relaxing at Sussex County Cricket Club in the Summer.
Married with two daughters, Jon has even been known to run a marathon or two!
Jenny has worked with us since 2005, having formally worked as office manager for one of our clients. Jenny now oversees the day to day running of our head office.
A true all-rounder, Jenny organises everything from our bookkeeping to arranging the diary, and if you give us a call, it’ll probably be Jenny who will answer.
Jenny loves nothing more than dogs and gardening. Her garden at home is pure chocolate-box and she dotes on her rescue Black Labrador Benson.
At weekends she still helps out at her former employers Lindfield Golf Acadamy.
